I began playing under the name “ dj sevin” around 1996 and have played under that name as a dj since. There is, however, no true mark in time that delineates when I became a dj from an audiophyle, nor do I continue to use the name "dj sevin." I am now simply mr space monkey!!
My collecting music began when I was a child and has never wained. My tastes include lounge, trip hop, tribal house, break beat, psy-trance, techno, down tempo, dub, and includes almost any music that is put together well.

My stage name - sevin - comes from a compound found in a bug spray which was the subject of a joke during the time when I was a chemistry student. It stuck.
So, now I am dj sevin. Or, if you would prefer... bug-spray.

musically I am continuing to evolve through my work with film, live video and stage production. I am working towards live sets incorporating my own music and video.
